Facilitated over 15 multi-company launches of Identity services across Europe, personally managing 4: Germany, Austria, The Netherlands and Poland.
Compiled (author/editor) the collective European telecom industry response to the European Commission’s public consultation on the formation of a European eID and changes to the EIDAS Regulation.
Deep understanding of business and technical aspects of eID, Authentication (log-in), Authorisation, Attribute sharing/matching and Identity verification services.
Advised telecoms companies (with specialised support) on consent management and privacy matters relating to European regulations GDPR and PSD2.
Communication
Led product management for over 20 communication services in both corporate and start-up environments, across Europe and globally.
Chaired the IP Comms Leadership Team (2011-2017) consisting of the world’s largest telecoms companies.
Developed the local market ecosystems for rich business messaging as the evolution of application-to-person (A2P) SMS. A major channel for conversational commerce enabling chatbots and AI to raise business-consumer engagement to the next level.
Founded and grew the global Rich Communication Services (RCS) ecosystem including over 90 operators, Google, all relevant technology vendors, top smartphone manufacturers, application developers, messaging companies, and aggregators.

Establishing the Commercial Product Management practice and building the product management and support teams for a global eCommerce solution provider. Focused on client-centric, data-led product development, driving growth, sales enablement, and value stream alignment.
Developed strategic marketing plans to leverage the KPMG/Cisco alliance in Europe, leading to the creation of a dedicated European KPMG e-Business Solutions Group.
Managed the South African oil industry’s electronic data interchange implementation., transforming logistics and operational effectiveness in the industry.
Advised Dixons Stores Group (UK) on e-commerce applications in supply chain, ensured business continuity, and implemented contingencies.
